ASK STACYDEAR STACY: I'd like to know if there's any chance of Tom Bergeron dancing on "Dancing With the Stars." That would be fun to see. — Ashley B., Cedar Rapids, Iowa DEAR ASHLEY: "I did dance, in Season 2," reminds the amiable host, when asked your question. He adds, "If you go on You Tube, type in my name and Quickstep, you can see a video of it. I did a passable Quickstep." DEAR STACY: Did Pia Lindstrom retire? I see her half-sister, Isabella Roselllini, on various shows and commercials. — Terry Anne, Atlantic City, N.J. DEAR TERRY ANNE: With three decades of work as a broadcast journalist and on-air critic behind her, the two-time Emmy-winner is semi-retired. She's currently heard on Sirius XM Satellite Radio's weekly "Pia Lindstrom Presents," a talk show devoted to books and films. She remains a board member of the American Theatre Wing and a Regional Parks and Historic Development commissioner for the state of New York. Lindstrom is also a trustee of the Theatre Development Fund, the largest arts service organization in the country. The elder daughter (71) of the late Ingrid Bergman has two sons from her second marriage. She wed her current spouse, attorney John H. Carley, in 2001. DEAR STACY: The movie "The Wrestler" with Mickey Rourke — is this based on a true story? — M.M., Bronx, N.Y. DEAR M.M.: No, despite appearances, it is not. DEAR STACY: As a fan of "The Equalizer," I was surprised to learn that Edward Woodward had passed away recently. He wasn't that old, was he? What was the cause? — Blake S., Canton, Ohio DEAR BLAKE: The British actor, also known for his extensive work on stage and in films such as "Breaker Morant" and "The Wicker Man," died in November at age 79 of ailments including pneumonia. Woodward had continued working despite going through two heart attacks and a bout of prostate cancer. DEAR STACY: What's happened to Don Johnson and Esai Morales (from "NYPD Blue")? They both disappeared. — D.S. and J.J., No. Bergen, N.J. DEAR D.S. AND J.J.: They're certainly on the scene now. Morales stars as Joseph Adama in Syfy's Jan. 22-debuting "Caprica" series, a prequel to "Battlestar Galactica." Johnson plays Kristen Bell's father in the Jan. 29-release big-screen comedy, "When in Rome," with Josh Duhamel, Danny DeVito, Anjelica Huston, Will Arnett, Dax Shepard and Jon Heder. Johnson was last seen on the tube Jan. 18, co-hosting "WWE Monday Night RAW" live with Heder. DEAR STACY: Since "The West Wing" went off the air a couple of years ago, I haven't seen Janel Moloney. What is she doing? — Dave A., Brooklyn, N.Y. DEAR DAVE: Moloney continues to work, with recent guest roles on "Life on Mars" and "Law and Order: Criminal Intent," and the indie film "Armless." She was involved in an ambitious fantasy adventure pilot project directed by former "West Wing" producer-director Tommy Schlamme, "Captain Cook's Extraordinary Atlas," but it failed to get a pickup. DEAR STACY: I would like to know who played Detective Jessica Angell on "CSI: NY"? Why was she let go? She was really good in the role she played. What other work has she done and what's next for her? — Keith F., Brooklyn, N.Y. DEAR KEITH: Budget cuts were the reason cited by Emmanuelle Vaugier for the demise of her Angell character. The Vancouver-born French Canadian, 33, is also known for her recurring roles on "Two and a Half Men" (as ballet teacher Mia), "Smallville" (as Dr. Helen Bryce, love interest of Lex Luthor), the first two seasons of "One Tree Hill" (as baby mama Nicki), and movies including "Saw II" and "Saw IV." She's come aboard Fox's "Human Target" — the show debuted Jan. 17 — for multiple episodes, playing an FBI agent.
